MEET THE TEAM

Melody Morrow

As long as I can remember, I’ve been captivated by the beauty of pregnancy, birth, and babies. Growing up as the second oldest in a large family, I developed a deep appreciation for midwifery care through my own mother’s experiences—each of her eight homebirths was guided by the steady, compassionate hands of a midwife. Those formative years planted the seed for my lifelong calling.
In 1998, I began my midwifery journey with a passion for offering families an alternative: natural, empowering births outside the hospital setting. Four years later, I became a Texas Licensed Midwife, and over the past 20+ years, I’ve had the privilege of attending more than 1,200 births and mentoring dozens of midwifery students in both home and birth center settings.
My personal journey has also shaped the care I provide. After marrying my sweetheart in 2006, I faced 4 ½ years of infertility, which deepened my compassion for families navigating similar challenges. Today, I’m the proud mother of four precious children, and my experiences with waiting, pregnancy, motherhood, and parenting have enriched my perspective and strengthened my commitment to midwifery as both a calling and a privilege.
When I’m not caring for families, I love spending time outdoors, exploring natural health, and soaking up moments with my own family.
I’d love to connect with you to see if I’m the best fit as your midwife. If not, I’ll gladly help you find the care provider who will walk this journey with you in the way you deserve.

I’ve always been captivated by the miracle of birth but I became passionate about it as I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology.  My own birth experiences, including one c-section, have given me a deep understanding of the physiologic birth process as well as an appreciation for modern medical technology.

I’ve had the honor of serving families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond as a certified childbirth educator and certified birth doula.  I have experience supporting families in a variety of birth settings as well as a trusted preferred doula with the Fort Worth Birthing and Wellness Center.

The Lord has finally opened the door for me to pursue credentialling as a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), studying through a MEAC-accredited program and apprenticing under the mentorship of Midwife Melody Morrow to complete my clinical training.

Outside of birth work, I’m a wife of 15 years, a homeschool mom, and disable veteran.  You can often find me hiking, at the gym with my husband, volunteering at church, or enjoying a quiet cup of coffee with friends.  I love connecting with people and consider it a privilege to support families during one of the most profound and life-changing moments of their lives. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and your family and walk with you on your birth journey.
